EGT Appoints Alejandro Mosquera Rey as Director for Spain
Alejandro Mosquera Rey has assumed the role of Director at EGT’s Spanish branch. He takes over for the esteemed Cristian Costovici, a challenging act to follow. However, Alejandro is well-versed in leadership, possessing over 15 years of expertise in team supervision and managing intricate endeavors. His background encompasses consulting, information technology, legal services, and, importantly, the gaming and amusement sector.
“Becoming a part of a powerhouse like EGT and their global team is a privilege,” Mosquera remarked. “I’m enthusiastic about contributing and committed to achieving even greater triumphs for EGT within the Spanish market.”
Mosquera’s career path includes a ten-year period at Codere, where he refined his abilities as a Product Manager and Chief Information Officer. His objective at EGT is unambiguous: enhance the company’s already impressive standing and solidify its presence as a leading force in the Spanish gaming landscape.
Nadia Popova, EGT’s VP of Sales and Marketing, conveyed her faith in Mosquera, saying, “We’re delighted to have Alejandro guide our team in Spain. His knowledge and experience make him ideally suited to capitalize on our exceptional product lineup and propel EGT’s ongoing success in this significant market.”
This appointment comes amidst a recent wave of significant personnel changes within the industry. Just recently, Sport Buff, an up-and-coming player in the operator realm, welcomed Nicolas Seidel as both a partner and investor.
Seasoned gaming industry leader, York Scheunemann, has been named Baybette’s Chief Operating Officer. Scheunemann joins the company with more than twenty years of experience, including executive roles at Google and mobile game developer Appino.
